Zack Sharf Digital News Director Jeremy Renner shared to Instagram a heartfelt note that his young nephew sent him sometime following the actor’s Jan. 1 snow plow accident. Renner was hospitalized for blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries after his snow plow ran him over. The “Hawkeye” star was driving a Sno-Cat, an extremely large piece of snow removal equipment that weights at least 14,330 pounds. “I am very lucky because my uncle is Hawkeye (which is one of the Avengers),” Renner’s nephew wrote to him in a handwritten letter. “I am also very lucky that my uncle is alive from his accident.” Renner wrote the following caption in reaction to his nephew’s letter: “Love my little man. Love you, Auggie.”

Ferne McCann, 32, broke down in tears as she opened up on the reality of losing her best friend Billie Shepherd, 33, whom she was close to for 22 years, over the voice notes scandal. The long friendship ended after a series of voice notes Ferne had recorded speaking about Billie's sister Sam Faiers five years ago were leaked. An anonymous account released the voice notes in an apparent bid to destroy Ferne's reputation, and the star has now gotten the police involved to try and stop the person from continuing their tirade.

EXCLUSIVE: Hasbro has narrowed down the field for its eOne subsidiary to a handful of suitors, sources tell Deadline. We hear fellow indie studios Lionsgate, Fremantle and Legendary (with Apollo) are in the running to acquire a majority stake in eOne. We hear there also may be 1-2 additional bids from private equity players; Hasbro previously sold eOne’s music business to private equity firm Blackstone in 2021 for $385 million. (Blackstone and company-backed Candle Media are not believed to be in the mix for eOne.) A reps for Hasbro said that the company has no update at this time; Fremantle, Lionsgate and Legendary had no comment.

A new Calvin Klein commercial features a 35-second snippet of an unreleased FKA twigs track, a tantalizing minor-key cut that places her angular vocals over minimalist trap production. Jem Aswad Senior Music Editor The entertainment business is filled with polymaths, but this week’s “Strictly Business” podcast guest, Evan Bogart, is a rarity even by its standards: He’s a songwriter of hits for Beyonce, Rihanna, Lizzo and others; owner of the large publishing company Seeker Music; chair of the Recording Academy’s new songwriters and composers wing; and not least, son of the late, legendary Neil Bogart, founder of the 1970s powerhouse Casablanca Records, which brought the world Kiss, Donna Summer, Parliament-Funkadelic and the Village People. Neil is the subject of “Spinning Gold,” a biopic directed and written by Evan’s older brother Tim, for which Evan is executive music producer, and which comes out March 31.

The residency continues through Saturday with “A Little Bit Longer” (2008), “Lines, Vines, and Trying Times” (2009) and “Happiness Begins (2019)” before culminating with the first live performance of the band’s newest album, “The Album,” which dropped May 12.

But he’s been just as up-front with his adoration for the man many consider the real young Sinatra: Seth MacFarlane, who, besides irreverently having created several of the world’s most popular animated comedy series, has released seven reverent albums of standards culled from the Great American Songbook. Logic was finally able to bring his MacFarlane fandom to the ultimate fruition by enlisting the animation mogul to croon the soothing bridge of an otherwise typically hyperactive new hip-hop song, “Self-Medication.” Although not a single per se, it’s a track that’s gotten significant streaming boosts as Logic’s (and MacFarlane’s) fans have discovered it since the late February release of the rapper’s new album, “College Park.” It’s all of a piece for Logic that his first independent album, distributed to BMG, after a long run with Def Jam, is a nostalgic look back at his youth that includes a vocal cameo from an entertainment giant that he says helped get him through a troubled upbringing.

Linkin Park have shared footage of Mike Shinoda unboxing the upcoming ‘Meteora’ 20th anniversary box set – which is set for release later this year.The five-minute video was shared to the band’s YouTube channel yesterday, and saw the founding member unwrapping the super deluxe edition for the first time.The limited-edition release will arrive on April 7 and was designed to commemorate 20 years since the release of the band’s iconic second album. As explained in the footage, the list of items included fills the entire back of the box, and consists of numerous previously unreleased rarities recorded from that era.Five LPs are included, including a copy of the ‘Meteora’ album, a debut release of the band performing in Texas, and previously unreleased footage from a 2003 show in Nottingham.
