"assaulted" in the street as anger continues to grow over the tragic and horrific murder of young Arthur Labinjo-Hughes. Jenny Turnross, director at Birmingham Children's Trust, has recently confirmed shocking reports that social workers had been physically abused as a direct result of the case.
It follows a passionate plea from the trust's chief executive for the public not to "demonise" staff following the murder of the six-year-old, Birmingham Live reports.
Arthur was reportedly tortured, including being poisoned with salt, and beaten before his murder at the hands of stepmum Emma Tustin in her Solihull home.
