Here's Why Jacob Elordi Feels Like He Still Hasn't Made a 'Movie'

Jacob Elordi is opening up about his acting career thus far and how it’s been “hard” to not see himself on the big screen yet.

The 24-year-old Euphoria actor has been in a handful of movies, but still feels like he hasn’t made one yet since none of them have been released in theaters. Jacob opened up while chatting with Vogue for a “24 Hours With” video feature. Click inside to find out what he said… In the video, Vogue followed Jacob while he was en route to see a movie in theaters and he discussed how he would go to the movies nearly every day when he first moved to Los Angeles. Jacob said he knew he wanted to be an actor when he was sitting in a movie theater and watching Heath Ledger‘s performance in The Dark Knight.

He has since appeared in the three The Kissing Booth movies for Netflix and the indie movie 2 Hearts, which was acquired by Netflix. “Strange enough, I’ve been here for four or five years now, and because of this terrifying new digital age, I’ve only ever really made things that are on streamers or television,” Jacob said. “I haven’t really made a, you know, like a ‘movie’ yet.

And I think every time I go to the theater, it’s hard to not sit there and be like, that’s what I, I want to do that.” Jacob‘s next movie, Deep Water, was supposed to get a theatrical release, but now it’s dropping on Hulu later this month.
