Nationwide customers were left unable to access their online banking or transfer money due to a glitch which has now been resolved, according to the building society.
Website DownDetector reported that customers had problems transferring funds (57 percent), getting into mobile banking (21 percent) and using online banking services (22 percent).
Users across the country were affected with hotspot outages in London, Birmingham and Glasgow.
