Sir Rod Stewart's assault case is nearly wrapped up out of the court room, a Florida judge has been told. The veteran musician, 75, and his 40-year-old son Sean were charged with simple battery following an alleged incident at a Palm Beach hotel on New Year's Eve.
Both Sir Rod and Sean pleaded not guilty to the incident, which had involved security guard Jesse Dixon. During Wednesday's pre-trial hearing, Sir Rod and Sean's representation Guy Fronstin asked Judge August Bonavita for more time for the case to be settled.
He remarked: "We are very close to resolution, we are just not quite there yet. "So if your honour would give us one more continuance, I think we will have it resolved by then." Judge Bonavita agreed to another pre-trial
