Sinclair Broadcast Group and Fox Corp. have signed an affiliation renewal deal that will see Sinclair stations in 25 markets remain as Fox affiliates.
The multi-year deal includes stations that reach approximately 11 percent of the U.S. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed. The renewal is Fox's first with Sinclair as part of the independent Fox Corp., with Disney having acquired Fox's entertainment assets last year.
Fox's last deal with Sinclair was signed in 2017. Fox has signed some other affiliation agreements post-Disney merger, however, including one with TEGNA last year.
The new Fox is focused on live sports and news, though the Fox broadcast network still dedicates most of its primetime to entertainment programming, including reality.
