SILENT Witness star Liz Carr has revealed why she quit the hit show after an eight-year run. Breaking her silence on the matter, the 49-year-old admitted she was "starting to resent it".
Fans of the BBC series will remember Liz for playing sarcastic forensic examiner Clarissa Mullery A definite fan favourite, she starred in the role from 2013, until her departure was announced in 2020.
Now having landed a part in series two of popular Netflix fantasy show The Witcher, the actress told Radio Times: “Silent Witness took nine months a year, so it did cut out an awful lot of projects that I would have loved to do.
