Convicted child rapist Glenn Christie, 54, has been freed after his cellmate died from Covid-19. His lawyer said it was "an unbelievable relief".
The 'vulnerable' monster had been convicted of child rape and indecent assault on a child under 14, but was released on compassionate grounds on Friday by Superior Court Judge Heidi Brieger, the outlet WBUR reports.
He was serving time at the Massachusetts Treatment Centre in Bridgewater, USA, after he repeatedly raped a 12-year-old boy. The Massachusetts man, who suffers from kidney disease and is being tested for cancer, had already completed a prison sentence
