Woman 'raped in Reading park' as three arrested after screams heard by passers-by

dailystar.co.ukThree men have been arrested after a woman was heard screaming for help during an alleged rape at a Reading park. The suspects were arrested after the woman's screams were heard by a nearby residents around 2am on Friday.
The victim, 31, was allegedly attacked while in Victoria Park, on Hodsoll Road. A 29-year-old man from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of attempted rape.
A 21-year-old man and a 34-year-old man from Wokingham have been arrested on suspicion of rape. All three men remain in custody at this time and the woman is being assisted by trained staff.
Thames valley Police are now appealing for witnesses. A spokesperson said: "We are appealing for witnesses following a serious sexual assault in Reading.
