A secret message has been spotted on the parachute used to help NASA’s Perseverance rover land on Mars. Incredible video showed dust on the surface being rapidly disturbed before it finally touched down on February 18.
Special red and white patterns in the parachute represent the secret binary coded phrase: "Dare mighty things". It is a line from US president Theodore Roosevelt and is a motto used at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in California, US, which serves as mission control for the Perseverance rover mission.
