asthma attack is on the cusp of having her campaign to ensure kitchens are fitted with inhalers debated by MPs. Elaine Cunningham's daughter Lauren Reid took ill and went into cardiac arrest while at work at Glasgow's Gin71 last year.The 19-year-old didn't have her inhaler with her, and by the time medics got her to hospital there was little that could be done.Elaine has since started a campaign entitled Lauren's Law in a bid to see every kitchen fitted with life-saving inhalers and first-aid kits to help prevent any other families suffering loss in the same way.She recalls being forced to make the painful decision to turn her daughter's life-support machines off in February 2020, four days after the attack, and she doesn't want anyone else.
