Saturday Kitchen's regular guest Rachel Allen has spoken for the first time on her son Joshua being jailed. Joshua, 21, was delivered a 30-month prison sentence, half of which has been suspended after he pleaded guilty to two drug charges at Ballymaloe Cookery School in Shanagarry, Co Cork, on August 30 2018.

Celebrity chef Rachel admitted fame has been "hard" on her children because their childhood has been firmly in the spotlight.

The mother was incredibly understanding towards her son. She also noted their lives have been "much more commented on than anyone else's life".

It has left her feeling "guilty" about her children not being able to grow up privately, the same way she had done herself. She told Irish Daily Mirror: “Yeah, it’s
