A new government data map shows that most of the cases have been reported in nine areas, with a high concentration along Salford’s southern and eastern boundaries with Manchester.
Salford, like the rest of Greater Manchester, is currently under tighter lockdown restrictions due to infection rates climbing across the city-region.With the government expected to extend the measures into next week, residents have been urged to pull together to avoid ‘further restrictions on our lives’.
