Salford Red Devils supporters will not be able to watch the Challenge Cup final from screens within the AJ Bell Stadium.The historic game will be played at Wembley this year but fans are not allowed to attend because of coronavirus restrictions.Instead, the club had hoped to stage a socially-distanced screening inside Red Devil's stadium.However, the plans have been rejected despite a number of attempts to convince the safety advisory group (SAG) - a body made up of local council, police and ambulance representatives.In a statement, a spokesman for the club said: "Salford Red Devils are extremely disappointed that supporters will not be in attendance at the 2020 Coral Challenge Cup Final, as a result of the current government.
