Russian troops boast of war crimes and stealing £200 cognac in leaked calls back home

Russian soldiers have been leaked and reveal troops have been allegedly looting homes of fleeing Ukrainians as they brag about downing almost £200 (7kUAH) worth of cognac.

As Ukrainians across the country flee their homes following Russia’s invasion last month, intercepted phone calls allegedly from Russian troops have been shared online.

In these calls, the soldiers are heard bragging to loved ones back home about taking mink coats, a TV worth over a thousand pounds, meat grinder, blender, Yamaha speakers and more.One Russian soldier said: “Went to looter a f***ing bit”.Another voice is heard replying: “Don’t looter motherf***ers a bit, go big.”One of the other calls saw a soldier admit to drinking some expensive cognac as other voices, believed to be family back home, on the series of calls told them “shoot the motherf***ers”.They also reveal how a group they captured was forced to undress before they were shot in the forest.It is unknown whether or not these were Ukrainian troops or civilians but they mentioned they were killed to stop the Russian troops location from being discovered.Another soldier, who admitted to looting, said: “I am telling you, the fact I am still alive is like we won a lottery ticket.

One out of a hundred thousands.” The calls were posted on Twitter in a video by the official Twitter account of Ukraine. The tweet said: “These are real intercepted calls: Russian soldiers in Ukraine call their close ones back in Russia to tell how it is going so far.
