Russian drone shot down after breaching NATO airspace sparking WW3 fears
dailystar.co.ukWorld War 3 breaking out, after a Russian drone was shown down over NATO territory in Poland. The drone was previously spotted in Ukraine, over the city of Yavoriv, but then ventured into Poland which is a breach of international law.
Ukrainian Armed Forces claimed that the drone appeared to be looking at damage that the Russian invasion had done in the Yavoriv military base near Lviv at the weekend, where 35 people died in a missile strike.Local news reports state that it then flew over to Poland before returning to Ukrainian airspace.It was shot down by Ukrainian forces at the time.
A spokesman for Ukraine said: “As we can see, the occupiers continue to carry out their provocative actions without hesitation, flying into the airspace of NATO member states.” The breach comes just a few days after UK health secretary Sajid Javid told Sky News that Britain will go to war with Russia if NATO areas are attacked.
