Royal Ascot punters were left in hysterics on Friday after a number of X-rated horse names were included in the Albany Stakes field - the opening race on day four.
Those dolled up for the Friday meet were treated to soaring temperatures whilst enjoying themselves at the famous track.And one thing that caught the eye of many were the peculiar horse names included in the opening race of the day.
Fully Wet was the first that raised eyebrows, as well as Lady Bullet and Beautiful Eyes.Arguably the most apt name of the race was Jim Crowley’s She’s Hot, as the Ascot crowd watched in heat that reached 31C.A number of racing fans were quick to point out the interesting field on social media, with @_iHateFeds tweeting: “That Albany line up has a lot of dubious names.” Meanwhile one other fan - @Toonsta69 - added: “Lady Bullet and Fully Wet both running in the 14:30 at Ascot today...
Wish I was the commentator!!”Away from the big debate surrounding names, there was of course still a race to be run, as Ryan Moore continued his good form for the week with an impressive victory on Meditate.
