THEY only played 12 dates on their rescheduled No Filter tour but The Rolling Stones made a mint from the gigs. The Jumpin’ Jack Flash hitmakers, headed up by Mick Jagger, have been crowned as the year’s biggest-grossing touring act after making £87.2million from the stadium dates.
That is £20million more than closest rival Harry Styles. The former One Direction star coined in £65.5million from 30 sold-out shows on his Love On Tour.
Figures from trade publication PollStar in the US confirmed that Harry’s three nights at New York’s Madison Square Garden alone made him £6.1million.
