A man who died following an alleged fight in Altrincham was facing trial, court papers have revealed. Rico Burton, 31, died following an incident on August 21 on Goose Green.
At a mention hearing held at Minshull Street Crown Court , it was said that Mr Burton had been charged with one offence of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, relating to an alleged incident on August 21, 2018.
The court heard that Mr Burton was awaiting a trial in relation to this. However, due to his death, the case has officially been closed. The matter was awaiting trial. “Sadly, Mr Burton met his death on August 21 this year. I have seen a copy of the death certificate. “The cause of death has been recorded as a stab wound.
