A singer has died aged 35 in a freak accident after getting electrocuted during a live show in a tragically unfortunate turn of events.
Ayres Sasaki is reported to have suffered a severe electric shock when a fan in soaking clothes hugged him during the concert, which is said to have caused a nearby cable to deliver a fatal charge.The singer, who was performing at a hotel in Salinopolis, Brazil, over the weekend, died instantly according to local media.
According to the country's Civil Police, the death is being investigated by local police. It's not known why the fan was wet when he approached the singer onstage, with his aunt Rita Matos explaining that the family were still trying to "understand how everything happened".
Ayres, who was acclaimed as the greatest singer and guitarist in the city of Belém, which is in the north of the country, leaves behind his wife of 11 months, Mariana.The performer was, said friends, known as the "king of encores" for his talent to be able to keep performing and once played for a continuous 12 hours.
