Raoul Moat's mum says 'he's not my son' as she breaks silence 10 years after shootings

Almost 10 years after the horrific shootings, Raoul Moat's mum has broken her silence and spoken out about the "trouble" he has caused her.

Moat was once named Britain's Most Wanted Man after he murdered two people and injured another. The killer then went on the run for eight days after the massacre and centre of a huge manhunt. “He is not my son,” Josephine Healey, 73, told the Mirror.

Despite nearly a decade since the killer's death, Josephine says he is still causing her misery, as abusive messages are still posted through her door. “I don’t want to talk about it,” she said. “I’ve had a lot of letters and things through the door.
