Brechin City have furiously denied claims that chairman Ken Ferguson called League Two clubs to get them to change their vote on an SPFL resolution.
A motion to end the lower leagues early was passed in in April, with the resolution also giving the SPFL the power to end the Premiership on a points-per-game basis.
Rangers have alleged wrongdoing in that process, and on Tuesday clubs will vote on holding an independent inquiry.
