Rangers and Celtic away fan lockout to end as SPFL scrap mandatory red zones

The SFA and SPFL 's joint response group has ruled clubs can now make their own Covid-19 risk assessments – including allowing away fans into matches.

Rangers and Celtic have been criticised for an ongoing absence of visiting supporters this season, with their own season ticket holders relocated to account for the socially distanced red zones for players and staff.

Hearts - due to visit Ibrox on Saturday, October 16 - last week lodged a formal complaint over the matter with the SPFL. But the JRG has lifted the mandate, which could now bring a conclusion
