Former Premier League striker Clinton Morrison believes Raheem Sterling on Saturday missed a big opportunity to make a much-needed statement.
Sterling, who announced this week he would be open to leaving City due to a lack of game time, was handed just his third start of the Premier League season in the false nine role as City comfortably defeated Burnley.
After Bernardo Silva converted from close range in the first half, City created plenty of chances but were complacent in front of goal.
Kevin De Bruyne eventually fired home in the second half to secure all three points, but it was another disappointing show from Sterling.
