Public Enemy rapper Flavor Flav ‘lucky to be alive’ after boulder falls and smashes car

told TMZ that a boulder fell down a cliffside in Tuna Canyon, hitting his car.The accident caused the 62-year-old to briefly lose control of his vehicle, but he was able to then get back on the right side of the road.While his car was damaged, Flavor Flav is said to be physically okay, and says he ‘came very close to death but is super grateful to be alive.’Flavor Flav is best known for co-founding the group Public Enemy with Chuck D in 1985.The hip-hop group are considered one of the most influential of all time and have released 14 albums, getting inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.Flavor Flav has also starred in various reality shows.Last year, Public Enemy said they had parted ways with the rapper,  following a row.
