Princess Diana 'wouldn't have been a fan of Meghan Markle like she may think', says pal

Princess Diana would not have been a "great fan" of Meghan Markle, at least not as much as Meghan "might perhaps imagine", according to one of the late princess' friends.Tina Brown - who is also the author of The Diana Chronicles and The Palace Papers - made the comments while speaking on the 25th anniversary of the Princess of Wales' death yesterday (August 31).Brown said that her friend was "very protective" of Prince Harry and Prince William, and would have been "very anxious" over the direction Harry has taken in recent years, alongside his wife. I don’t think Diana would have been the great fan of Meghan that Meghan herself might perhaps imagine."Brown went on to add that she reckons Diana would have been "thrilled" when Harry first met Meghan, and "delighted, supportive and thrilled someone of mixed race was joining the Royal Family" because she was so "inclusive".

She also said that Diana and Meghan differ in one way in particular.
