Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were not in attendance for this year’s Commonwealth Day and reportedly felt they were “snubbed” during their last appearance at the event.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have continued to spend most of their time in the US following their decision to step down from their roles in the Royal Family.The Queen was also absent from this year's event as she continues to perform light duties since recovering from Covid last month.Although Harry’s decision to not attend the day to celebrate the Commonwealth is thought to be down to the couple being missed out from the order of service in 2020.Commonwealth Day in 2020 was also the couple’s last appearance as working royals before they left to start their new life in California.Both Meghan and Harry had both been in attendance in 2019 and were then included in the order of service.
However, they were notably absent from the 2,000 orders of service distributed but Prince William and Kate Middleton were included in the details about the royal procession.
