Joe Biden was caught resting his eyes during the opening ceremony of Cop26 and many viewers reckoned he was "falling asleep".

The 78-year-old US President is unkindly nicknamed "sleepy Joe" by critics because of his gaffes, such as falling over three times when trying to board a plane.

He arrived in Glasgow on Monday morning (November 1) to join world leaders for the climate change conference. Unfortunately, the president appeared to struggle to keep his eyes open while listening to the opening speeches, Daily Record reports.
