World leaders have started to jet home from COP26 after two days of negotiations at the climate summit held in Glasgow. The President of the United States Joe Biden departed on Tuesday night at around 10.20pm after jetting away from Edinburgh Airport.
The American leader boarded the presidential plane Air Force One after arriving in Scotland on Monday, November 1. More than 100 world leaders gathered for COP26 for the two-day event, which included statements on the need to tackle climate change from various heads of state.They have now started to depart Scotland after the World Leaders’ Summit came to a close yesterday, leaving the complex negotiations to their representatives, mainly environment ministers or similarly senior officials.T
