Joe Biden was forced to rip up plans to stay at the swanky Gleneagles Hotel after the venue ran out of room, it has been reported.
The US President landed in Scotland for the COP26 climate change summit on Monday afternoon. Yesterday, we reported that the 76-year-old stayed at the four-star Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club on the on the outskirts of Edinburgh for two nights.
The Scottish Sun is now reporting that Mr Biden’s team had initially planned for him to stay at the world-famous Gleneagles Hotel.
