A pregnant mum has slammed shoppers who watched as she struggled to lift her trapped two-year-old out of an Asda trolley. Zoe, who is 17 weeks pregnant, was shopping at Asda The Jewel on Tuesday morning with her daughter Zara, when her toddler became stuck in the supermarket trolley.

Frantic Zoe, who struggled to lift the weight of her toddler out of the cart, desperately pleaded with shoppers in the busy aisle to help, but told Edinburgh Live she was "stared at." Luckily an elderly woman came to her aid and helped the mum pull little Zara from the trolley seat, but the furious local can't believe no one else tried to help them.
