'Post-Covid world needs thousands more human-like androids to keep people safe'

Sophia the humanoid robot was the face of robotics in 2020. Now, in 2021, her developers say they plan to bring “thousands" more like her into the world.

David Hanson, founder of Hanson Robotics, says that robots are the answer to re-opening the world after the coronavirus pandemic.
