Police van takes 26 football fans to pub - but people can't work out how they all fitted in

Middlesbrough supporters filing out of the back of the police van after it stopped at a pub prior to their match on Saturday (May 7).

Boro had travelled to face Preston North End on the final day of the Championship season, with a small chance of still making the play-offs.In the footage, the van can be seen pulling up before an officer opens the door and as many as 26 fans filter out and into the pub.Other fans were quick to react to the footage on social media after being left confused as to how so many fans managed to fit inside the back of the vehicle.One supporter tweeted: "They can’t of all fitted in that van surely." With another adding: "How the f*** did they all fit in there?"A third fan wrote: "I’ve watched this video at least 10 times yet I’m still amazed just how many people actually get out." Another then tweeted: “Like one of them f****** clown cars that!

Tell us in the comments sectionThose fans who did receive a lift from the police may have wished they had stayed at home as Chris Wilder's side slumped to a 4-1 defeat in their last match of the campaign.Alan Browne's strike and an own goal from Dael Fry put Preston 2-0 up at half-time before Marcus Tavernier pulled one back for the visitors shortly after the interval.However, a brace from Emil Riis Jackobsen either side of Paddy McNair being sent off secured a comfortable win for Preston at Deepdale.The result also left Boro unable to reach the play-offs as they finished seventh and five points adrift of sixth placed Luton Town.
