Greater Manchester Police say they have closed off the A627 King Street in Dukinfield between Boyd's Walk and Thorncliffe Avenue.

Pictures from the scene show police and ambulance working in the street. A police spokesman said: "The area has been taped off as a precautionary measure." They confirmed the incident is not being categorised as major, critical or serious at this stage.
