Confusion tonight surrounded which police force is investigating the embarrassing pictures of Wayne Rooney with semi-naked girls.
The Greater Manchester force denied they were looking into the snaps, 24 hours after the Derby manager’s representatives said the matter had been reported to them over fears of criminal conduct.
