police officer accused of a six-year campaign of domestic abuse attacked his ex and abandoned her on a foreign holiday, a court has heard.
PC Fraser Ross, 41, is currently on trial accused of repeatedly assaulting and abusing Anne-Marie Hirdman, 43, between 2013 and 2019.
He denies assaulting her on three different occasions, and repeatedly verbally abusing her, at his home in Motherwell, Lanarkshire.
And, on Monday, Miss Hirdman's mum told Hamilton Sheriff Court that Ross had assaulted and abandoned her daughter while on a trip to the States.
