A police helicopter was seen flying over a beach in Majorca ordering sunbathers to be off a beach by 9pm Civil Guard officers confirmed they were going to be putting a chopper up in the sky every day to make sure people using the island’s beaches obeyed new rules brought in to halt the spread of coronavirus.
The beaches are closed between 9pm at night and 7am in the morning. Parks are also being closed overnight in a bid to stop them being turned into party areas following the closure of nightspots including discos.
