Police charge two men after a number of car doors are tried in Bolton

Two men have been charged after allegedly trying a number of car doors in the early hours of the morning. Police were called to Abbylea Drive, Westhougton, at 3am on Tuesday.

Officers turned up to the street with a police dog to search the area. Shortly afterwards, two men were arrested for vehicle interference.

Steven Bardsley, 29, and Lee Davies , 46, have now each been charged with two counts of vehicle interference. This morning, a spokesman for the Bolton West Division of Greater Manchester Police said: "Following yesterday's post about the males being arrested trying car doors in Westhoughton.
