Police appeal to find wanted man, 52, in connection with Wigan robbery

manchestereveningnews.co.ukPolice are searching for a wanted man in connection with a robbery in which a victim's throat was slashed in Wigan. Gary Gage, 52, is also wanted for breaching the terms of his bail conditions, a spokesman for GMP said.
Gage is known to have links to the Denton, Eccles and Wigan areas of Greater Manchester. At around 11.15am on June 10, 2019, a 52-year-old man reportedly approached a woman in Wigan town centre armed with a knife.
The man stole her handbag and assaulted another member of the public, leaving the victim with a cut to the throat, before fleeing the scene, a spokesman for GMP said.
