Police investigating a fatal tram collision in Tameside are asking any witnesses to come forward. A pedestrian - aged in her 30s - died after being hit by the tram close to Droylsden Metrolink station, in Tameside, on Friday night (December 17).
The tram stopped at New Islington station, around three miles away, and the driver assisted officers with their enquiries, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.
