Over the past three years, Joel Morris has built his start-up into a successful and award-winning podcast recording company.
But now he says it could be driven to the wall because he is being forced to pay for offices his staff cannot use due to coronavirus restrictions.
His landlord Regus, an office rental space giant with 316 locations in the UK and more than 1,000 worldwide, is refusing to offer financial help to clients.
It says it has its own costs to meet, including payments to landlords. Regus also points out that it offered a two-month payment reduction at the start of lockdown – though this came with strings such as clients having to sign longer contracts.
