Playboy model to pose for a full-frontal nude shoot almost passed out on a boiling hot set, she has revealed. In 1972, the adult magazine revealed its first ever centrefold with a model posing with full-frontal nudity.
The release’s star was Marilyn Cole, a then-21 year-old from Portsmouth. She had been selected after attending an interview to work at the Playboy Club in London.
Whisked off to the Playboy Mansion in Chicago by executive Victor Lownes, Marilyn was treated to dinner – which consisted of fried chicken in bed with Hugh Hefner – in the days before the shoot took place.
But, despite the perceived glamour of the Playboy enigma, Marilyn revealed to podcast Power: Hugh Hefner that the shoot itself was a rather gruelling undertaking..
