East Ayrshire library into homes have been withdrawn temporarily, it is understood.Ross Helliwell applied for planning permission to transform Stewarton's C-listed Institute Hall into seven flats.It is believed East Ayrshire Council planners have asked for more information on the details of the vision for the development.Proposals for the site are expected to be submitted again with the additional details.The recently-submitted planning application showed six homes with two bedrooms and another apartment with one.The accommodation would be situated on the ground and upper floors of the vacant building, which is located in the town's Avenue Street Conservation Area.The Ayrshire Live app is available to download now.Get all the local news in.
