Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Piers Morgan had to explain the reason for his "croaky thread" on this morning's episode of Good Morning Britain. The 55-year-old ITV presenter was forced to confirm he didn't have coronavirus symptoms after fans were concerned about his cough.
He stopped to clear his throat several times this morning during a fiery discussion about Victoria Beckham furloughing staff.
Piers co-star Susanna Reid, 49, addressed Piers' cough, asking the TV presenter: "Are you alright this morning, by the way?" Morgan replied: "I lost my voice last night shouting. "A lot of people annoy me, the Beckhams in particular." Their chat about Victoria Beckham caused Susanna and Piers to come to blows this morning as their opinions differed in the debate.
