Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang told to leave Arsenal for more 'ambitious' European club

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been urged to swap Arsenal for a "more ambitious club" by the president of Gabon's football association Pierre Alain Mounguengui.

The 30-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world and Mounguengui believes he would be a success at any top European club.

Aubameyang has been continually linked with a summer switch to Barcelona and, with his contract due to expire at the end of next season, he has yet to agree a new deal at the Emirates.
