PETER Kay’s return to the stage has been hijacked by ticket touts. The comedian 48, is playing two shows at the 3,500 capacity Manchester’s O2 on August 7, to raise money for Laura Nuttall, 21, who has a brain tumour.
Tickets went on sale at £45 each yesterday morning at 9am but sold out in seconds, despite a limit of six a person. Since then, they have already appeared on resale website Twickets, with one going for £175.
Peter has rarely appeared since cancelling his stand-up tour in 2017. Fan Sharon Sharkey said on Twitter: “Gutted is an understatement.
