Comedian Peter Kay has announced he will be performing two special live shows in August 2021. The Car Share comedian stepped back from the public eye in 2017, and in August he will be participating in two Q&As.
The upcoming matinée and evening concert will take place at the O2 Apollo on August 7, in aid of Doing It For Laura and The Brain Tumour Charity.
This will mark the first time in three years the funnyman from Bolton will perform live on stage. Peter cancelled his 14-month tour in 2017 due to "unforeseen family circumstances".
He was last seen appearing on a BBC comedy special in lockdown for Children in Need and Comic Relief, but he last performed in front of a crowd during a surprise Car Share appearance in 2018.
