Peter Kay has broken his silence to announce he’ll be performing two very special live shows next month.The Car Share comedian, who stepped back from the public eye in 2017, will be participating in two Q&As in aid of Laura Nuttall at Manchester O2 Apollo on August 7.Laura, 20, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma multiforme, a fast-growing and aggressive brain tumour, in October 2018 after a brain scan that showed six tumours.Fans were bowled over by the news of the funnyman’s return, with one branding him an ‘absolute hero’.Laura’s mum wrote: ‘Still can’t believe this actually happening!
So incredibly grateful to Peter for doing this and just cannot wait for August 7th.’Peter stepped back from the public eye in 2017, cancelling his 14-month.
