This is the moment firefighters rescued a cute dog from a drain a month after she went missing.Adventurous two-year-old pup Sophie disappeared in June - and her owners feared she would never come home.But students at the University of California Santa Barbara heard weeping - so they alerted the emergency services.She was found trapped in a drain pipe at the campus and the rescue mission was under way.The dog's distress call worked - and Sophie was soon returned to her family.The Santa Barbara County Fire Department performed the rescue act and they were more than happy to help.Captain Daniel Burtucelli revealed the happy ending after the scared and hungry pet was finally found."It was two year old dog that had been missing for a month," he.
