Perth city street attracting fines for selfish car parking

Perth street has become the centre of concern for nearby residents as droves of vehicles continually park on double yellow lines.The concerns on Needless Road are that the build up of cars and vans along the street are causing unnecessary congestion, as well as difficulty entering and exiting the junction to Darnhall Road.Police required to disperse large group of youths from the North InchOne resident called for bollards to be placed on sections of the pavement to deter people parking there, and for wardens to patrol the area more frequently.Perth City South ward councillor Willie Wilson conceded that parking on the street has become an issue, and that a wider program to lower the speed limit to 20mph in the Craigie area is being looked.
